Preheat the oven to 150C Chop the dried fruit and lemon zest finely Blanche the almonds Chop the nuts finely |
250 g flour 250 g sugar 1.5 tsp baking powder |
Mix the flour, sugar and baking powder |

Add the eggs Add the nuts and fruit |
Roll into long sausages 5cm diameter Put onto lined trays and flatten slightly Cook for 10 minutes Allow to cool a little Slice diagonally with serrated knife Cook for a further 10 minutes until golden |
